Yes.

You do not need to relax, concentrate or enter a special state for this work to be effective. Many people arrive feeling restless, anxious or mentally busy. This is not a problem.

Rather than trying to calm the mind, sessions are oriented toward meeting whatever is present. When effort drops, even slightly, the nervous system naturally begins to settle in its own time.
