I find it difficult to relax, will the healing still work?

Yes!

If you find it difficult to relax, we can discuss what tools might help or make things more comfortable for you. For example, often, especially in a shamanic healing session, I will use my shamanic drum or rattle, which is very relaxing for the brain and often helps people to slow down a little. I can also use sound bowls or put on some meditation music or talk you through some breathing exercises or a relaxing visualisation. If you wish to keep your eyes open, you can do so. Whether you are wide awake or fast asleep (and it’s very common for people to sleep and snore on my therapy bed), the healing will still take place.
